Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
This policy explains what Role Player Chatroom (roleplayer.cc), run by 6ixcore, stores and why.
What we store
- Account details — username, email address and a hashed password when you join.
- Chats — if you’re signed in, your conversations are saved to your library so you can continue them. You can delete them at any time.
- Guest chats — if you aren’t signed in, your conversation is kept only in your own browser (local storage), not on our server.
- Characters you create — name, bio, persona and greeting.
- Reports and contact messages — what you send us, plus the chat excerpt you report.
- Usage counters — a daily message count per account, and for guests a short-lived counter tied to a one-way hash of your IP address, used only for rate limiting.
- Server logs — our host keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security.
AI processing
To generate replies, the messages in your current chat and the character’s description are sent to the AI provider handling that reply (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Mistral or another provider shown in the chat’s AI menu). They process the text to produce a reply under their own terms and privacy policy. Don’t put personal information in chats.
Cookies
We use WordPress’s essential login cookies when you sign in. We don’t run advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
Account data and saved chats are kept until you delete them or ask us to close your account. Rate-limit counters expire within a day.
Your choices
You can delete chats from your library, and you can ask us to export or delete your account data through the contact page.
Changes
We’ll update this page and its date if anything changes.
